Guess who’s back.
That’s right, I am back at the gym. Doing Jiu jitsu at Bushido Kai. Choking people out with triangles like a boss…or like a white belt who has been on maternity leave for 9 months.
To recap, I used to do Brazillian Jiu Jitsu at Pound for Pound, before I got pregnant. I had a great group of friends ( that I miss. tear.) who I felt really comfortable rolling with. Then we moved to Halifax. So now I begin again! Feels so good to be back in my Gi. And then we start drilling knee on belly and that good feeling is gone, to be replaced by painful hipbones and sore shoulders. All you BJJ friends know what I;m talking about!
